<p><em>A Decision Support System (DSS) that leverages computer technology and analytical methods can aid decision-making in complex situations. This research aims to develop a DSS for selecting the best student in a school by comparing the performance of the AHP-TOPSIS and AHP-SAW methods. The study is motivated by the current manual selection process for the best student, which is prone to subjectivity, lacks a structured assessment system, and is time-consuming due to the large volume of student data. The research employs the waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The data used in this study includes report card grades, ethics scores, attendance records, and extracurricular activity scores from 45 students. The AHP method is applied to determine the weights of each criterion. Subsequently, TOPSIS and SAW are used to rank the students based on the score of similarity to the ideal solution (TOPSIS) or the weighted sum score (SAW). The results indicate that AHP-SAW (73.33% accuracy) outperforms AHP-TOPSIS (53.33% accuracy) in achieving consistency with manual calculation results. Using AHP-SAW on 45 data points resulted in 11 instances of rank differences, whereas AHP-TOPSIS resulted in 34 instances of rank differences. These findings suggest that AHP-SAW is more suitable for implementation in a DSS for selecting the best student due to its weighted summation approach, which is more aligned compared to AHP-TOPSIS that relies on the concept of distance to an ideal solution. This research contributes to a more efficient, objective, and accurate system for the best student selection process, enabling future decisions by schools to be based on this method.</em></p>Saepudin NirwanMohammad RamadhaniyantoDini Hamidin

<p><em>Technological developments that continue to develop in this modern era have significantly made human tasks easier in various fields. One form of technological progress is the existence of an object detection system. This progress can be utilized for various needs such as in the security aspect. In this era, the use of motorized vehicles is increasingly showing an increase. Many people prefer to use private vehicles such as cars rather than using public transportation. So, with the vehicle number plate recognition system, it is hoped that it can help make work easier and time efficient. This research aims to implement a car number plate recognition system using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method. The use of deep learning architectural methods and image processing in a vehicle number plate recognition system is important because it allows the extraction of the necessary information from the number plate image, such as shape, color and texture characteristics as well as object detection. <p>Aplikas <em>Point Of Sale</em> (POS), atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai sistem kasir, merupakan aktivitas penting dalam bisnis pakaian. Sistem ini mencatat transaksi dan menjadi indikator pendapatan bagi pemilik toko. Artikel ini membahas tentang rancang bangun aplikasi POS berbasis web untuk toko baju Screamble yang masih menggunakan sistem kasir manual. Pengembangan sistem ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan data serta proses transaksi di toko baju Screamble. Sistem manual yang ada saat ini dinilai kurang efektif, memakan waktu, dan rentan terhadap kesalahan, terutama ketika volume penjualan meningkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data melalui studi kepustakaan, wawancara, observasi, dan analisis data. Model pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah model <em>waterfall</em>, yang didefinisikan oleh Pressman sebagai model klasik dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak dengan tahapan yang berurutan serta menggunakan <em>Unified Modelling Language</em> (UML) untuk pemodelan sistem aplikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi POS berbasis web yang dirancang untuk mempermudah proses transaksi penjualan, mengelola inventaris secara lebih akurat, dan mengidentifikasi produk terlaris berdasarkan data penjualan yang terstruktur. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi POS ini berfungsi dengan baik dan sesuai dengan harapan pengguna, sebagaimana ditunjukkan melalui metode blackbox testing. <p><em>With the advancement of technology today, many things can be done online. Therefore, there is a possibility that the making of e-KTP can be done online. At this time, the making of e-KTP is still manual, with a long flow and still takes a long time. For this reason, the making of e-KTP can be done online with the help of applications. One way to create an application is with Prototyping. Prototyping is a software development method, which is a physical model of system work and serves as an early version of the system. Then, it is combined with design making with the Design Thinking method. After the initial prototype of the application is finished, testing is carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method to check whether the prototype is in accordance with user needs. In this study, the researcher's prototype received an average SUS score of 76, with the interpretation showing a Good value. <p><em>The competitiveness and growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are significantly influenced by their ability to manage business operations, particularly in the cake and pastry industry. Many MSMEs still manage customer data and sales processes manually, which often leads to data inaccuracies and difficulties in monitoring sales performance. This research aims to address these challenges by designing and developing a web-based sales and customer data management system, utilizing the First In First Out (FIFO) algorithm to support business mobility. A case study is conducted on Bu Epni's Cake and Pastry Business in Cisewu, Garut, which faces issues such as manual sales recording and non-digitalized management of supplier and customer data. The proposed system will enable the digitalization of records, sales monitoring, as well as supplier and customer data management, thereby improving operational efficiency and business decision-making.
