Abstract

Hurira Make Up is a make up service provider in Bandung City. In running the business there are several business processes including managing orders, scheduling between customers and make up artists (MUA) and creating reports. Currently these business processes are still carried out semi-computationally through social media applications. The social media used also plays a role as promotional media, with limited text and image information conveyed on social media resulting in minimal distribution of information about Hurira Make Up. To overcome problems regarding service management and information distribution, this research carried out a design for a make-up service information system. This research describes the analysis and design stages which are part of and complete research on the topic of implementing a make-up service information system.

At the analysis stage, Kano questionnaires were distributed to measure the level of user needs for the designed information system features with a total of 12 questions and 18 respondents. From the results of the questionnaire, 4 features were classified as Indifferent and 2 features were classified as One Dimensional. In this phase, activities are also explained using Porter diagrams and main activity business processes using Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN). In the system design stage, a structured oriented approach method is used, by modeling the process design using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and data design using Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). The supporting software used to design the makeup service center information system is Figma (for creating mock ups), Microsoft Office Visio, Power Designer and Bizagi Modeler.

The output of this research is a process design, data design and mock up of the Makeup Service Center Information System based on the results of measuring application feature requirements using the Kano Method. This design can be a basis for application developers in implementing and testing.
