The evolution of digital service provision inherently necessitates User Interface (UI) engineers to design systems that prioritize user preferences and satisfaction, particularly within the domain of premium vehicle care services. This investigation endeavors to formulate the Luxwash application interface based on the assessment of feature satisfaction through the application of the Kano model and the articulation of a systematic business process flow. The research methodology employed comprises two progressive phases: an analytical phase and a design phase. The analytical phase involved the distribution of Kano method questionnaires to twenty participants to examine five core functionalities of the Luxwash application, encompassing aspects of service management, scheduling, package selection, free repair warranty, and work progress visibility.
The findings from the Kano analysis indicate that out of the five functionalities evaluated, two (40%) fall within the Attractive domain, namely the scheduling function and the service package selection option. These two features demonstrate substantial potential for enhancing user satisfaction levels. Conversely, the remaining three functionalities (60%), specifically service handling, provision of free repairs, and the progress monitoring mechanism, are classified as Indifferent. This classification implies that the presence or absence of these features does not significantly contribute to the user satisfaction level. None of the features corresponded to the Must-be, One-dimensional, or Reverse categories.
In contrast to these findings, the design phase emphasizes the orchestration of business processes, user flow mapping, and interface prototyping, with a predisposition towards features categorized as Attractive. It is anticipated that the outcomes of this study can serve as a conceptual foundation for the construction of more efficient, user-satisfaction-centric, and causally data-supported service application interfaces.
