Keprofesionalan Guru TVET Dalam Menghasilkan Tamatan Yang Sesuai Kebutuhan Industri

Abstract

Preparation of professional TVET teacher is an important step in the effort to support the development of vocational education. The purpose of this paper is to know the efforts that can do TVET teacher related its professional competence in producing graduates who matched industrial needs. This paper is based on literature review of various literature sources. The conclusion of a literature review about efforts that can do TVET teachers for develop their professional competence are: (1) Continuous professional development; (2) Training mastery of industrial competence and mastery of competency based education; (3) Development of vocational teachers' professional competence; (4) Teacher certification program; (5) Participation in scientific forums. The role of government is very expected in doing efforts for develop the professional competence of teachers TVET.
