PERANCANGAN APLIKASI SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PENERIMAAN BEASISWA MENGUNAKAN METODE SAW

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a decision support system (SPK) application for scholarship acceptance at MA Ma'arif NU 5 Sekampung. The method used in this application is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The purpose of this application is to assist the decision-making process in accepting scholarships by considering various relevant criteria. This application uses PHP and MySQL technology for web-based system design. A simple user interface is provided to make it easier for users to operate this application. In this application, users can enter data on prospective scholarship recipients along with values ​​from predetermined criteria. Then, the application will perform calculations based on the SAW method to give weight to each criterion and produce a ranking of prospective scholarship recipients based on the results of these calculations. The results of the study show that the SAW method is effectively used in a decision support system for scholarship acceptance. This application can help the process of selecting prospective scholarship recipients more efficiently and accurately. With this application, it is hoped that MA Ma'arif NU 5 Sekampung can select scholarships in a more structured and objective manner.
