RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI PEMINJAMAN PERANGKAT BERBASIS WEB DENGAN METODE SHORTEST JOB FIRST

Abstract

Scheduling Loans of Goods is an important process in managing and optimizing the use of goods in an institution, such as the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). One of the methods used in this scheduling is Shortest Job First (SJF), where goods will be scheduled based on the shortest processing time. In this context, research illustrates how the SJF method can be used to manage queues for ordering goods, thereby minimizing waiting times and maximizing borrowing efficiency. In this study, the PHP programming language was used to implement a web-based loan application. This application will facilitate the process of borrowing goods with better accessibility, allowing users to borrow from the place and time they want. The results of this research can provide practical and efficient solutions in managing goods lending at BPK, and perhaps can be adopted by similar institutions to improve overall resource management.
