IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM PEMESANAN MENU KAFE BERBASIS WEBSITE MENGGUNAKAN QR CODE

Abstract

In the competitive culinary industry landscape, service speed and accuracy are crucial factors for customer satisfaction. Cafes often face inefficiencies in conventional ordering systems that rely on manual paper-based recording, leading to long queues and risks of order errors. This research aims to design and build a web-based cafe menu ordering information system integrated with Quick Response (QR) Code technology. Using the Waterfall development method, this study includes requirements analysis, system design using UML, implementation with PHP programming language and MySQL database, and system testing. The results show that the developed system is capable of transforming operational workflows to be more efficient through self-service ordering mechanisms, providing real-time data management, and minimizing recording errors. This implementation not only modernizes services for customers but also provides effective managerial tools for business monitoring.
