ANALISIS EVALUASI STRATEGI BERSAING PT SILKARGO INDONESIA DALAM MENGHADAPI KOMPETITOR MENGGUNAKAN METODE SWOT
Abstract
PT. Silkargo Indonesia as a company that has long been engaged in this business must be able to compete against competitors who have different market scope and competence. Noted several companies engaged in this business, for example Schenker, DHL, UPS, FedEx and others. Due to the many competitors, PT. Silkargo Indonesia needs to choose a strategy to be able to compete with competitors in the same business field. Through the SWOT method aims to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the strategy that currently exists in PT Silkargo Indonesia. This research begins by evaluating the internal and external environmental conditions of the company. Using the External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrix for external factors, analyzing internal factors using the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) matrix, alternative strategies that can be done using the Strengths-Weakness-Threats-Opportunities (SWOT) matrix, determining the firm's position with the Internal- External (IE), analyzing the industry using Porter's Five Forces model. It can be concluded that the strategy of PT Silkargo Indonesia is in quadrant II. if mapped on the external internal matrix (IE) which illustrates that currently PT Silkargo Indonesia is in the position of aggressive strategy, a strong position and able to take advantage of opportunities that exist.
