Author Guidelines

Jurnal Logistik Bisnis (p-ISSN: 2086-8561) accepts original research articles, quantitative modeling papers, and applied managerial case studies in logistics, supply chain management, and operational decision-making. All manuscripts submitted must not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

General Requirements

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in grammatically correct Indonesian or English.
  • File Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) using the official Journal Article Template.
  • Page Length: Articles should typically be between 6 to 12 pages in length, including all figures, tables, and references.
  • Plagiarism Threshold: All submitted manuscripts will undergo a similarity check using Turnitin or iThenticate. The maximum allowed overall similarity index is 20%.

Manuscript Structure & Formatting

  1. Title: Concise, specific, and informative. Maximum 15 words. Capitalize the first letter of each word except prepositions and conjunctions.
  2. Author Information: Full name(s) of all authors without academic/professional titles, institutional affiliation(s), institutional address, corresponding author email, and ORCID ID (if available).
  3. Abstract: A single paragraph between 150 and 250 words summarizing the research background, specific objectives, methodology, core findings, and managerial/practical implications. Do not cite references or use unapproved abbreviations in the abstract.
  4. Keywords: 3 to 5 relevant words or short phrases, separated by semicolons (;), reflecting the core subject matter of the paper.
  5. Introduction: State the research background, clear theoretical gap (*state of the art*), rationale of the study, relevant literature review, and explicit research objectives.
  6. Methodology: Describe the research design, data collection techniques, sample size, analytical tools, optimization models, or simulation procedures clearly so that the study can be replicated.
  7. Results and Discussion: Present research findings clearly using tables and figures where necessary. The discussion must interpret the results in depth, comparing them with previous studies, and highlighting theoretical and practical contributions to logistics/supply chain management.
  8. Conclusion: Synthesize the main findings of the research, outline practical and managerial implications, acknowledge research limitations, and propose avenues for future research. Avoid repeating abstract text.
  9. References:
    • Minimum of 15 references.
    • At least 80% of references must come from primary sources (peer-reviewed scientific journals or conference proceedings) published within the last 5 years.
    • Strictly formatted using APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Association) style.
    • Authors are required to use a reference management system such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

Submission Checklist

Before submitting your manuscript through the online system, please ensure the following:

  • The manuscript has been formatted strictly according to the Journal Article Template.
  • All authors' affiliations and corresponding author contact details are complete and accurate.
  • Figures and tables are clear, high-resolution, and cited sequentially in the text.
  • Reference list is checked against in-text citations and styled according to APA 7th Edition using reference software.
