PENGENDALIAN PERSEDIAAN SUKU CADANG UNIT GRAND LIVINA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN KLASIFIKASI ABC DAN METODE ECONOMIC ORDER QUANTITY (EOQ) MULTI ITEM PADA PT NISSAN MOTOR DISTRIBUTOR INDONESIA
Abstract
PT Nissan Motor Distributor Indonesia is a company engaged in the sale of authorized Nissan parts. The company storing various types of authorized Nissan parts, include used parts of Grand Livina units. The problems experienced by PT Nissan Motor Distributor Indonesia is the relatively high inventory levels of the used parts of Grand Livina units, these conditions must be caused of cost waste of the company. The problems began in the determination of the order quantity is less precise, resulting in a total amount of inventory costs.
In this research, the approach using multi-item EOQ method. To facilitate the research conducted in 1,336 parts into three classes based on ABC classification to obtain spare parts which are included in the critical category, followed by computing the order quantity plan of the used parts of Grand Livina units based on company policy and the proposed method.
From the calculation, based on order quantity plan proposed method to obtain the number of spare parts which are included in critical category is 47.55% of the total number of parts with the absorption of funds amounting to 79.99% of the total capital stock. The cost efficiency obtained to Rp 4,609,414,770 per year. Total cost of inventory based on the company's policy obtained to Rp 11,594,076,395, and based on the proposed method of Rp 6,984,661,625 per year.
