ANALISIS PERNCANAAN PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU DI GUDANG RAW MATERIAL PT SINAR TERANG LOGAMJAYA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIMPLE MOVING AVERAGE DAN WEIGHTED MOVING AVERAGE

Abstract

PT Sinar Terang Logamjaya was established in 1985, it manufactures spare parts ordered by the cooperation companies such as PT AHM and PT Showa Indonesia. PT Sinar Terang Logamjaya is a manufacturing company that produces spare parts for motor vehicles.

This research used Single Moving Average method to predict raw material inventory, with moving average per 3 periods and Weighted Moving Average with three different weighting value such as 3, 2, and 1. The method is used to analyze raw material inventory planning in PT Sinar Terang Logamjaya.

From the data that has been analyzed, it is obtained a result of raw material inventory planning for the next period, the calculation used Simple Moving Average method to find out how much inventory of waser tile’s raw material needed in the next period. The result for January 2015 as much as 10 pieces, which will be perfected by usingWeighted Moving Average method and obtained the result for January 2015 as much as 9 sheets.
