ANALISIS PENYEBAB KECACATAN MATERIAL KARTON DI PT PERTAMINA LUBRICANTS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE 7 (SEVEN) QUALITY TOOLS

Abstract

PT Pertamina Lubricants Produksi Unit Jakarta (PUJ) is a company that engaged in the production of lubricant and grease. In producing lubricants and greases also needed a supporting material to pack the lubricants and grease that have become products. Reject material is one of the main problem in PT Pertamina Lubricants, particularly the cardboard being the most damaged material. This research done to analyze several factors which causing the occurrence of defects in cardboard material.

To find out the causes of damage cardboard, this research used seven quality tools method combined with 5W1H to obtain the results of causal damage analysis on cardboard, what become the most dominant causes of broken cardboard, and problem solving using 5W1H. this research only focused on the type of cardboard material because it has the highest percentage.

The results of data analysis stated there are 3 types of damage that caused the cardboard damage, such as wet, off spec, and color defects. Then the most dominant damage was caused by wet with a percentage of 53.48%. Wet damage itself is caused by 3 factors, by human, method, and environment.
