ANALISIS TINGKAT KERUSAKAN PRODUK E-CLIP DENGAN METODE STATICAL QUALITY CONTROL (STUDI KASUS: DEPARTEMEN PRASARANA KERETA API, PT PINDAD)
Abstract
PT Pindad Persero is a manufacturing company, producing various products such as weapons, ammunition, special vehicle products, explosives, industrial machinery train products and equipment. At wrought and cast division in PT Pindad Pesero, there is rail infrastructure department, which manufactures railway equipment such as Ka-clip, De-clip and E-clip. This research focused in the term of reject products mainly E-clips, as E-clip is a featured product of PT Pindad Persero. Based on quality control data, production on the period 2015-2016 there are 21,119 of the total 1,300,000 products manufactured have damaged. This research aims to review and analyze the quality control in E-clip production process at PT Pindad Persero. The analysis was conducted by processing the data findings of damaged production quality control and using analytical tools control charts (P-chart, Pareto Diagrams, Fishbone Diagrams), flow chart, check sheets, and histograms. Based on statistical calculation, level of damaged E-clip products on the period 2015-2016 is uncontrolled statistically. The cause of the damage products occurred by human factors, methods, and machinery such as fatigue in working, communication, less scrupulous, old machinery less directing.
