ANALISIS FAKTOR PENYEBAB KETERLAMBATAN PENGIRIMAN BARANG DI PT KN SIGMA TRANS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SEVEN TOOLS

Abstract

In an effort to compete, PT KN Sigma Trans as a company which engaged in delivery service industry expected to support the development of various industries, both local and international companies. This research aims to find out what factors which caused delays during the process of import shipments via air (Air Freight).

This research was conducted by using Seven Tools method and SWOT Analysis. Each tools contained in this method will provide information on how to deal with delays that occured during the delivery process. Tools which used were check sheet, histogram, Pareto, Scatter Diagrams, Control Diagram, Flowchart, and Fishbone.

This research will culminate to root cause analysis that caused any kind of delays which are researched through fishbone diagram. Fishbone used to analyze and find the root causes. After finding the root causes, then this research provided improvements for the company by using SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis gave improvements in order to reduce delays in PT KN Sigma Trans which are happened upon delivery.
