ANALISIS PERBAIKAN TATA LETAK GUDANG PT PLN (PERSERO) APJ BANDUNG DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SHARED STORAGE

Abstract

Shared storage method is a method that guided by the FIFO (First In First Out). A method which is done to create a warehouse layout to placed products carefully. The process of product placement adjusted to the warehouse’s floor area, then sorted from products that are most often out into the warehouse to be placed closest to the door, by calculating an average out material and the average incoming material. After knowing the average of outgoing and incoming material, the next step is to determine the space requirements of each material. Then to determine allowance space corresponded to the dimensions of the forklift, and also determine the throughput and assignment. The last step, arranged the layout by using the shared storage along with the warehouse design layout and optimal warehouse area. Knowing the size of the warehouse in accordance with the length and width to accommodate products 27 products in one warehouse, so that the acquisition of with the warehouse size which has length of 17 meters and a width of 13 meters, then prepared the product to see product activity which has the most in and out of the barn, and space requirements, then matched with the distance from the product to the door as Mtr Kwh at a distance of 3.5 meters and a value assigment 7, so the product must be placed close to the door.
