FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI DWELL TIME PADA PROSES EKSPOR ADIDAS KE NEGARA CHINA DI PT. KN SIGMA TRANS

Abstract

1. KN Sigma Trans is a company engaged in freight forwarding. One of the customers which become company’s priority is Adidas, shoes manufacturer that has a high number of delivery, one of the destination is China. Dwell time is the main problem and impact to time allotted for each shipment. The problem caused by just-in-time cargo. Parties associated with PT.KN Sigma Trans in the export process is a Vendor or Shipper, Carrier and Market.

Analysis method used to determine dominant factors that affect the dwell time at the PT. KN Sigma Trans. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 50 staffs as the repsondents, associated divisions namely exports and billing division.

The results of the data analysis stated that there are 15 factors that affect the dwell time at Adidas exports to China, which grouped into five groups of factors. The dominant factor has eigenvalue 4.498 and percent of variance value of 29.985 percent, the dominant factor is composed of three factors: Delays departure, Incompatibility Purchase Order (PO) with the Shipping Instruction (SI), and the revision of the availability of cargo.
