PERANCANGAN SISTEM TRANSPORTASI SEBAGAI PENETAPAN HARGA JUAL DI PT DAMIN (Studi Kasus PT Customer Goods)

Abstract

PT DAMIN is a third party logistics company (3PL) which provides shipping services using ground transportation. One of his customers are PT Customer Goods, to shed load in Cikarang and unloading warehouse that distributor called consumer shipments were in the cities in Central Java and East Java. Delivery Type is Territorial Distribution (TD), the concept of distribution in PT Customer Goods for distributors in certain regions as a line of product distribution. Delivery of this type carried out by the delivery to the customer send. The research problem is inefficient use of vehicles send marked by numerous deliveries with smaller load capacity of the vehicle.

Therefore, to design a transportation system for product delivery PT Customer Goods, such as the formation of the trend analysis method and mileage nearest delivery, delivery using modified vehicles on the box load. Shipping schedules are arranged in Gant Chart is based on lead time and delivery plans for each tier. The selling price of transportation services obtained from the total cost plus the desired profit company with transportation charges adjusted to increase the loading capacity of the vehicle.

Based on the results obtained data processing shipments total number of service to Central Java and East Java, which is 12 s.
