Abstract

Work productivity is the comparison of all the resources used in comparison with the results obtained. At the Office of the Governor of East Java, the Household Section, the task that must be done is to make SPPD and SPJ. To make SPPD and SPJ requires high work productivity. One of the factors that affect work productivity is work motivation. In this study, we want to know how much influence work motivation has on work productivity. In this study using quantitative methods. The sample in this study used the entire population, namely 37 respondents, where all employees who worked at the Office of the Governor of East Java Province for the Household Section with research instruments were 27 statements. To process the data in this study using validity test, reliability test, normality test, simple linear regression, F test, and coefficient of determination. Based on the results of the research that the author has examined, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted which indicates the influence of work motivation on work productivity. It can be concluded that H0 = there is no effect of work motivation on work productivity = rejected, H1 = there is an effect of work motivation on work productivity = accepted. Based on the coefficient of determination the effect of work motivation on work productivity is 37.6%, the remaining 63.4% is influenced by other variables besides this study.
