Abstract

This study examined the effect of personal selling on sales volume at PT Astra International Tbk-TSO Auto2000 Pasteur Bandung branch. The purpose of this study was to find out how personal selling and sales volume at PT Astra International Tbk-TSO Auto 2000 pasteur bandung branch and want to know how much influence personal selling has on the sales volume of PT Astra International Tbk-TSO Auto2000 Pasteur Bandung branch.

The type of research used in this study is descriptive quantitative by using sampling techniques for this study using Probability Sampling. The population in this study was consumers at PT Astra International Tbk-TSO Auto2000 Pasteur Bandung Branch, with a total sample of 60 respondents. The analysis technique used is a simple linear regression analysis technique. Previously, validity and reliability tests were carried out on the data collected from research instruments.

The results of this study show that the magnitude of the influence of personal selling on sales volume at PT Astra International Tbk-TSO Auto2000 Pasteur Bandung Branch has a significant effect and the magnitude of the influence of personal selling on sales volume by 39.3%. While the remaining 60.7% is influenced by other factors, testing conducted on the hypothesis that states that there is a simultaneous and partial influence between personal selling on the sales volume of PT Astra International Tbk-TSO Auto2000 Pasteur Bandung branch is proven both simultaneously and partially.
